Visiting Moab, Utah is the home of two National Parks, the Arches National Park and the Canyonlands Natioanl Park.

Moab is popular for hikers, mountain bikers, off roads vehicles and rafting along the Colorado River.

Moab has plenty of lodging in town.  Book your room in advance because accommodations can fill up quickly. The town has grown since our last visit, more hotels, shops, restaurants and outdoor vehicle rentals.  We stayed at Bowen Hotel for two nights.  Staying here is an easy drive to both parks.  For food there are lots of restaurants to choose from.  We had lunch at Mandarin Szechuan Restaurant and dinner at Singha Thai Cuisine.  Both serves good food (I preferred Asian meal, because I’m already craving for rice).

We’re back at Moab to take our chances this time to photograph Mesa Arch in Canyonlands NP at sunrise and Landscape Arch in Arches NP at sunset.

Put Moab on your trip list, the place will not disappoint you with regards to scenery and adventure.
